When you join to Formless your account has an allowance of 25 conversations. Please note that both abandoned and preview conversations do not count towards this allowance.

Should you require additional conversations, you can easily obtain them by following a few simple steps. You can learn more about our PRO plan and its features here.

What is a conversation?

A conversation is defined as when a user engages in a formless, regardless of its length, and the resulting data is extracted and presented in the Conversation tab as either completed or partial conversations.

A conversation may encompass any number of questions and answers, and it is categorised as such as soon as the user interacts with the first question or sentence in the conversation.

Both completed and partial conversation count towards your conversation allowance. Conversely, abandoned and preview conversations are not counted against your limit.

Completed conversations

****If all the information presented in the "info to collect" tab is answered, and the user reaches the end of the conversation—whether it's the pre-set end screen or the screen with the "keep chatting" button—the conversation is considered completed.

Partial conversations

In cases where the information in the "info to collect" tab is only partially answered, and the user does not reach the end of the conversation, this is referred to as a partial conversation.

In progress conversations

When a user starts to answer a formless, their conversation is considered 'in progress' until they either complete the conversation or stop to answer it. If a user does not complete their conversation, the 'in progress' status will last for approximately 7 minutes before the conversation is categorized as abandoned or partial.

Abandoned conversations

An abandoned conversation occurs when a user clicks on the welcome screen button but does not engage further by answering or asking any information. Essentially, if there is no interaction beyond the initial click on the welcome screen, it is considered an abandoned conversation. You can find all abandoned conversations in your Conversations tab. In such cases, since the user left the conversation without providing any information, these converstions are not counted towards your conversation allowance.
