Have your audience ever experienced an interruption in your Formless conversation due to a connection issue or an unexpected interruption? Previously, if a conversation was closed or paused for an extended period, users would have to start the conversation anew, leading for you to double submissions and duplicate responses.
To mitigate these issues and improve user experience, we introduced the conversation continuity. Now, respondents can effortlessly resume where they left off, even after refreshing the page or returning to the conversation.
This feature is automatically enabled for all users. Each time a respondent reopens the conversation, if it hasn't been previously ended, they will encounter the following screen, allowing them to seamlessly pick up where they left off.
Respondents have the option to either continue from where they left off in their conversation or start over. If they choose to continue, the conversation will resume from the last question presented in the previous section. In the Conversations tab, this ongoing conversation will be updated with any new answers provided and will be displayed as a single conversation thread.
Alternatively, if the respondent decides to start over, the conversation will reset to the beginning, and a new conversation entry will be recorded in the Conversations tab.
When a respondent continues the conversation, in your Conversation tabs, the responses will be updated to the previous conversation, with the text “(User is ready to continue the conversation)” displayed.
If a respondent continues a conversation started previously, this will count as 1 conversation on your monthly allowance.
